Simonetta Cravedi

Simonetta is an architect and a tango dancer, a creative person who is curious about everything she doesn't know or knows little about. She believes that only through knowledge and culture can one broaden one's horizons. She began a career as an artisan driven by the sense of wonder in seeing a project idea transformed into an object. In her artistic process she likes to use different materials, sometimes even decontextualizing them, so, for example, upholstery fabric scraps can become belts or bags to wear, but she is also interested in yarns that in her hands become objects of use worked in Macramé.
